ARES was founded by Julian W. Chen, DDS, a general dentist in Santa Monica, CA. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Julian Chen recognized the need for an

Affordable, Reliable, Effective, and Simple solution to address the aerosol problem

out of concern for the safety of his staff, his patients, and the community he served.

Unable to find an existing solution that met all of his requirements, he took on the

challenge to design and build a better device.  His innovative thinking, creativity and

unrelenting dedication to do better gave rise to the HALO.

The HALO's low-cost and unique design makes it reliable and effective.  There is no

need for additional hardware to purchase and maintain.  It plugs directly into your

HVE connection with no modifications.  It is easy to place and assemble.  Most

importantly, it is comfortable for patients.  The HALO will help protect your staff and

your patients.  In turn, it will protect the community that you passionately serve.
